Soaply wins first edition of The Dutch Social EnterPrizes 2022
Five companies have won prizes at the first edition of The Dutch Social EnterPrizes. These were awarded on June 30th 2022 at the 10 Years of Social Enterprise NL Festival. All winners went home with a prize of €5000 made possible by the ABN AMRO Versnellingsfonds.
Soaply: rapid growth and systemic change
Soaply is the winner in the Dutch Social Enterprise of the Year category. This award goes to the social enterprise that has made the biggest impact. Henk Jan Beltman (Tony’s Chocolonely), on behalf of the jury: “The choice was difficult, because all five nominated companies have shown to make great impact. For us, the choice fell on Soaply, because they have not only shown impressive growth, but are also pushing for systemic change with bold campaigns.”
We will take the prize of €5,000 with us to Nepal, where our impact colleague Ilse, will help local super shell farmers to develop further.

Five different winners
The Social EnterPrizes put social entrepreneurship in the spotlight. The first edition has five categories and besides Soaply the following winners: WEAR (newcomer of the year), Fleur Bakker (female entrepreneur of the year), The Colour Kitchen and Compass Group (Social Partnership of the year) and Oma’s Soep (Audience Award).
About The Social EnterPrizes
The Dutch Social EnterPrizes are an initiative of Social Enterprise NL. Between 6 April and 13 May, anyone could nominate social enterprises for all categories of the Social EnterPrizes. A total of 410 nominations were received, after which team Social Enterprise NL made a selection. Nominees then went into discussion with the various judges and it was up to the jury to decide the winners for each category.
We are extremely proud of this beautiful recognition, which will help us further in our mission for a cleaner and brighter future for all of us. Only together with you, can we really make a change in the sustainability of washing and cleaning!
